ASDIT 2025 has been Successfully Concluded!

From September 19 to 21, 2025,2025 International Conference on Advanced Semiconductor Devices and Integration Technology (ASDIT 2025) was grandly held in Wuxi, China. The conference gathered over 150 experts, scholars, and industry elites from both at home and abroad, and achieved great success.

The conference was organized by Jiangnan University and hosted by the School of Integrated Circuits of Jiangnan University, the School of Science of Jiangnan University, Wuxi Key Laboratory of Third-Generation Semiconductor Devices and Integration Technology, and the Jiangnan University-Kangxun Semiconductor Joint Laboratory. It was co-organized by the Wuxi Integrated Circuit Society, Shenzhen Yanwei (Jiangsu) Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., Vector Group (Vector Science, Wanxin Construction, Vector Optoelectronics), and Ditong Automation Technology (Guangdong) Co., Ltd., supported by Beijing Kangxun Semiconductor Co., Ltd., Nanjing BoBo Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., Punox Vacuum Technology (Changshu) Co., Ltd., Suzhou SuDaWego Technology Group Co., Ltd., Wuxi Shangjia Semiconductor Co., Ltd., with technical support from the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).

Professor Gu Xiaofeng, Dean of the School of Integrated Circuits at Jiangnan University, hosted the opening session. He introduced the background and significance of the conference to the attendees, creating a favorable academic atmosphere. He also warmly welcomed the guests and participants and expressed sincere thanks to all organizing units. Professor Liu Long, Vice President of Jiangnan University, delivered the opening address. He introduced the development history of Jiangnan University, its disciplinary strengths, and academic influence in related fields. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to guests who traveled from afar and wished the conference great success.

At the start of the conference, Professor Ao Jinping from Jiangnan University served as the chair, steadily advancing the agenda. The morning plenary session featured five top industry experts delivering keynote speeches: Professor Qiu Xianqin from Chang Gung University, IEEE Fellow Professor Naoki Shinohara from Kyoto University, Researcher Xu Ke from Jiangsu Third-Generation Semiconductor Research Institute and Suzhou Navi Technology Co., Ltd., winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Professor Wang Hongxing from Xi’an Jiaotong University, and IEEE/OSA Fellow Professor Yu Jianjun from Fudan University. They shared their cutting-edge achievements and profound insights in the field of advanced semiconductor devices and integration technology, discussing industry development trends and future research directions in depth. These high-quality reports were rich in content and novel in perspective, sparking lively discussion on site. Many scholars actively participated in interactions, creating a very engaging academic atmosphere.

In the afternoon, four parallel forums were held. Sixteen invited speakers—including deans from universities and national-level talents from research institutions—gave presentations on the themes of “Advanced Semiconductor Materials and Equipment,” “Advanced Semiconductor Devices,” “Applications of Advanced Semiconductor Devices,” and “Advanced Semiconductor Integration Technologies.” They shared their innovative approaches and practical experiences in related fields. The reports not only covered breakthroughs in fundamental theoretical research but also addressed key technical issues and solutions in practical engineering applications, providing participants with valuable academic references and practical guidance. These sessions triggered broad intellectual resonance and effectively promoted the integration of knowledge and technical exchanges between academia and industry.

Additionally, young scholars from multiple universities and research institutes presented their innovative research results through oral presentations and poster sessions. Their unique research perspectives and novel methodologies showcased the vibrant energy and innovative vitality of young talents in the field, injecting fresh intellectual momentum into the conference.

To enhance attendees’ understanding of local research strengths, a special visit to the Wuxi Key Laboratory of Third-Generation Semiconductor Devices and Integration Technology was arranged in the afternoon. Jiangnan University faculty guided the guests and scholars through the laboratory, providing detailed explanations of its development history, research focus, and latest scientific achievements. This gave participants a more intuitive understanding of the practical applications and future prospects of third-generation semiconductor technology. After the tour, participants also visited the Jiangnan University campus to experience its academic atmosphere and cultural heritage.

During the conference, a dedicated exhibition area was set up for enterprises. Exhibiting companies actively showcased their flagship products, latest technologies, and research achievements. The enterprise booths not only served as important windows for demonstrating corporate strength and promoting products but also built an efficient platform for supply-demand matchmaking and technical exchanges among industry, academia, and research sectors. The strong atmosphere of industrial cooperation ran throughout the conference, creating favorable conditions for promoting collaborative innovation and development in the semiconductor industry.

After the conference concluded, numerous experts and scholars expressed heartfelt thanks for the meticulous organization and sincere invitations. They unanimously stated that the conference was content-rich and fruitful, broadening academic horizons and facilitating connections with many peers, thereby laying a solid foundation for future academic cooperation and exchanges.

The organizer, Jiangnan University, stated that it will continue to uphold the mission of promoting academic exchange and driving technological innovation. It will persist in providing more high-quality platforms for communication and collaboration for scholars and enterprises in the semiconductor field.
